Auto Assembly 2009 Convention ArtworkI was asked to do some movie Bumblebee artwork for this year's Auto Assembly (Europe's biggest Transformers con) back in August. This illustration of Bee appeared on the cover of the Cybertronian Times (the con magazine), mugs and other stuff although the original pic was just Bee on his own (I slung a background in there to make it look more interesting).
It was also the cover image for a CD by the band 'Next of Kin'. sold at the show. They were guests at AA and played various songs from the TF animated movie among others and totally rocked the place. Singing 'the Touch' with these guys (along with Simon Williams, Nick Roche, Liam Shaloo, Kris Karter and a host of other bods) was an experience I won't forget in a hurry! O.o
